July 27, 2024
Assault at Restaurante Fitz in Zona Rosa
- Location: Restaurante Fitz, Zona Rosa, Mexico City.
- Incident: Taurean Charles breaks a glass at the bar, the waiter asks them to pay for the glass (30 pesos), Taurean refuses and assaults a waiter by breaking a Caguama (large beer bottle) on the waiter’s head. Afterward, Taurean attempt to stab the waiter with a knife. Taurean end up cutting the waiter’s hand.
- Police Involvement: The police are called to the scene in response to the violent behavior. The Police confiscates Tauren’s knife.
- Outcome: Details of police intervention and immediate aftermath need further clarification, but this is marked as the first known violent incident involving Taurean in Mexico City.Taurean is BANNED from The Fitz and all bars surrounding Zona Rosa.
July 28, 2024
First verbal incident in Roma Norte
- Location: Residence in Roma, Mexico City.
- Incident: Taurean becomes verbally violent with their roommates who offered to go with them to The Fitz and find out if they dropped their wallet and passport in the previous altercation. Taurean’s verbal violence against residents 1 and 2 includes racism, misogyny, fatphobia, and antisemitic remarks that suggest alignment with extremist thought, even though roommates do not subscribe to any religious identity.
July 28, 2024 – August 6, 2024
- Location: Residence in Roma, Mexico City.
- Incident: Taurean speaks on the phone with someone, tells them blatant lies about roommates, they speak as if the home they live in is theirs (Taurean is a temporary guest). Residents are suspecting Taurean is a dangerous person and speak with the waiter at The Fitz and find out Taurean is more violent and dangerous than they thought. Residents get legal advice to evict Taurean out of their home.
August 6, 2024
Attack and Eviction in Roma
- Location: Residence in Roma, Mexico City.
- Incident: Taurean becomes violent with their roommates. The residents call lawyers and the police. The police arrive in approximately 1 hour, in the meantime Taurean verbally assaults female and male residents, throws food and coffee on the floor, intending to provoke. Residents are trying to restrain from engaging in conversation, with very few replies without insulting or threatening them. Furthermore, Taurean throws drugs away in the toilet (key sounds suggest they were snorting something before throwing away drugs), resident tries to retrieve her house keys and Taurean physically attacks her, biting and assaulting her, in front of the police. Taurean locks themselves in the room, the police have to break the door open and inform Taurean they have been evicted. Taurean tries to punch the fame resident in front of the police. At this point, Taurean is restrained and taken away in handcuffs. Following Taurean’s removal, the state of their room is found to be appalling, with signs of drug use (window screens removed, and thrown 5 floors down along drugs). The walls require a new coat of paint, and all the bedding and other personal items need to be discarded due to the damage.
- Eviction: The same day, Taurean is evicted from the residence. During the eviction process, they continue to verbally insult everyone present. Taurean is escorted from the building amidst their ongoing provocations. Taurean physically and verbally threatens both residents.
- Aftermath: Following his eviction, Taurean threatens both residents, forcing them to take out a restraining order against them for their protection. Taurean puts up a crowdfunding campaign claiming they were victims of “police brutality”, when in reality police should have arrested and deported them, avoiding future victims. which is exactly what happened in the next residency also

- Taurean then forcefully took the keys to her apartment, assaulted her, and bit her on the left arm near the bicep area.

Scamming people for Money
- Taurean Charles engages in fraudulent activities by creating false stories on social media to solicit money from the public. Taurean portrays themself as a victim in situations that he intentionally causes, then requests financial support either personally or through a “crowdfunding model.” These posts often include payment options like CashApp and Venmo, misleading donors into supporting his deceptive claims.

Arrival at Anahuac Residency
- Location: Anahuac Residency, Mexico City.
- Incident: Taurean moves into a new residence in Anahuac. The period of calm lasts for only a short time.
September 14 Incident
Taurean verbally assaults other resident and two female person in the apartment. Taurean attempts to attack them physically and people need to be staying away from him and after he returns to film with his camera when Taurean is asked to leave the residence. Despite this aggression, Taurean pleads for another chance, explaining that they were not themselves during the incident. The residents reluctantly agree to let Taurean stay for a while.
September 21, 2024
Violent Knife Attack and Eviction
- Location: Anahuac Residency, Mexico City.
- Incident: Taurean’s behavior escalates as they continuously insults and provokes the residents throughout the day. Later that night, Taurean attacks the woman resident with a knife. Her boyfriend intervenes in protection, resulting in a deep cut on his right arm.
- Police Involvement: The police are called immediately. When they arrive, Taurean locks themselves in the room, refusing to come out for approximately 30 minutes. When Taurean finally opens the door, the police search the room, finding a 20 cm kitchen knife, alcohol, marijuana, and various strong medications. Additionally, the police find evidence of property damage, including drawing on the wall.
- Eviction: The police escort Taurean out of the residence. The next day, the residents packed his belongings and placed them downstairs for collection. Everything was packed and documented. When Taurean arrives to retrieve his belongings, Taurean continue to hurl racist and misogynistic insults at the residents and people assisting. After doing thorough cleaning on the room which was in very bad condition residents noticed that Taurean had also caused damage to the room rented to him and he had stolen items from the apartment including airpod headsets from the office space.
SEPTEMBER 30th 2024, NARVARTE PONIENTE – ROBBERY
On Monday, September 30th, around 6:00 PM, my roommate (Victim 1) arrived at the apartment located in Narvarte Poniente. She went to her room to look for her laptop and noticed it was not on the bed where she had left it. She began looking around the apartment and started to realize that more items had been stolen, such as a speaker and a television that were in the living room. She started messaging me to ask if I had seen them. I (Victim 2) arrived at the apartment 10 minutes after this observation was made, and I confirmed that neither the speaker nor the television was there. I entered my room and saw that my Nintendo Switch console and a new video game cartridge were missing from the furniture where I had left them. Additionally, two bottles of tequila, one bottle of mezcal that were inside the refrigerator, and a thermal cup that belonged to me were also gone.
We immediately called the police and began the process of filing a robbery report at the Benito Juárez prosecutor’s office. During this time, my roommate (Victim 1) started tracking her laptop from her cell phone, and the geolocator showed that the device was in the Roma neighborhood.
I’ll make a parenthesis here: Both of us (Victim 1 and Victim 2) already had a possible suspect in mind for this robbery—our former roommate, who lived with us from August 7th to September 7th. He identified himself as CHARLES TAUREAN, with whom we ended our lease due to aggressive, hostile behavior and verbal violence towards us (Victim 1 and Victim 2). He vacated our space on September 7th, but left damages in the apartment and stole items such as a 20 oz aqua blue Yeti, a container with a chocoflan, clothing hangers, an internet modem, a bottle of Licor 43 with accessories for making carajillo, and did not return the keys. The lock of our apartment was changed that same day.
With this background in mind, we assumed it was the same person who broke into our home on Monday, September 30th, and stole our belongings.
On October 1st, around 10:00 AM, we called a patrol car for support, and we waited outside the address shown by the laptop’s geolocator. Indeed, CHARLES TAUREAN came out of the place where the laptop’s geolocator indicated. We asked him about our belongings; he ignored us and left. The patrol car arrived about 3-5 minutes after we called them. We described the suspect, and they began searching. They intercepted him 10 minutes later, but when they detained him, he escaped. The officers called for reinforcements to locate him. Around 11:00 AM, CHARLES TAUREAN was apprehended by Cuauhtémoc district police, and they confirmed that among his belongings was my roommate’s Mac laptop (Victim 1) and my two bottles of tequila and one bottle of mezcal (Victim 2). The process of filing a complaint for concealment and possession began at the Cuauhtémoc prosecutor’s office. We continued the process on October 2nd, and they returned the recovered belongings mentioned above to us.
We have been informed that this person is currently in the Northern Prison and that both my roommate (Victim 1) and I (Victim 2) will be kept informed about the current status of this person’s case.
We have no doubt that this person is an imminent danger to society. We fear for our safety, which is why we are keeping our identities anonymous but are sharing our testimony so that there are no more victims of this individual. We are continuing with our complaints so that the full force of the law comes down on this person.

November – December 2024, Escaping the law and the harrasment of the victims
Taurean Charles after being arrested in Mexico City on charges of robbery and assault, Charles spent a month in the northern prison. However, instead of answering for his crimes in court after the 4 weeks he was released on bail and fled the country immediately, evading justice. He is now wanted to answer for his sentencing in Mexico.
Charles resurfaced in Los Angeles, where his troubling behavior continued. Reports indicate that he has continued to harass the victims who has testified against him or talked with the prosecuter/police about his crimes. Utilizing platforms like YouTube and X, Charles has published videos targeting these individuals, engaging in harassment, issuing threats, and spreading defamatory claims. Furthermore, victims have received threatening and blackmailing emails, deepening their trauma and fear.
As a response, our organization is stepping in to support the affected community. We are actively working with legal teams to assist victims and are organizing a group claim against Taurean Charles in the United States. Taurean Charles has been reported to IC3 and they are working on the case. Our aim is to hold him accountable for his actions, protect those he has harmed, and ensure justice prevails.

Jan 2025, Taurean Charles Scamming in LA
Our team has received new reports that Taurean Charles, previously exposed for fraudulent activities, is continuing his deceptive schemes, this time in the Los Angeles area. Charles has been posting on social media, claiming to be homeless, living in a broken-down car, and without financial support, in an effort to solicit money from unsuspecting individuals. These actions are part of a recurring pattern of scams previously documented and reported by our team. Additionally, it has been confirmed that Charles is also attempting to make money by selling adult content and services on various platforms.
As a reminder, if you have been targeted or victimized by this scam, you can report him to the police and participate in the ongoing court case initiated by several of his victims. Be aware that giving him money supports a violent criminal who has previously been sentenced in Mexico, evaded authorities, and has a history of violent attacks against women. Stay vigilant and take action if necessary.
